Spinach Roti


Ingredients


Wheat Flour – 1 cup
All purpose flour - 1/4 cup
Spinach – 2 cups (chopped)
Green chillies – 2-3
Ginger-garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt
Oil/Butter


Steps

1. Blend the spinach and green chillies together into a smooth paste.


2. Mix it and other ingredients together with the flour. Knead the dough with a little water if needed. Rest the dough for 30 mins.


3. Make small rounds out of the dough and roll them flat.


4. Heat a pan and cook the flat breads on both sides.


5. Apply some butter and serve along with dal or curry and raita.

Meal Today: Green rotis with moong dal

Tips

For good dough, knead well using a little oil and warm water. Also rest it by covering with a wet cloth for atleast 15 minutes.
